GAWAD PARANGAL

QUEZON CITY GAWAD PARANGAL was held last Wednesday night, 12th of October 2011 at the The Crowne Plaza Hotel. It was headed by the Honorable Mayor Herbert Bautista, the current Mayor of Quezon City.
The said event is one of those rare occassions where spectators can witness both Kapamilya and Kapuso Artists sharing one stage. The audience was serenaded by our very own Jonalyn Viray together with Frencheska Farr, Jed Madela and Eric Santos. Jonalyn Viray and Erik Santos paired in a duet of the song 'Ewan' written and composed by the Apo Hiking Society. Frencheska Farr and Jed Madela also had a duet number before all of them sang 'Kay Ganda Ng Ating Musika' written and composed by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab as their Finale.



Indeed, it was refreshing to see these artists interact during their rehearsal and no sense of that old-time network rivalry as we know it. -sj
